Думаю, имениннице было бы приятно, если бы она знала, что в России, которую она любила, к ней и ее наследию относятся с такой теплотой и трепетом.

We "celebrated" Gabrielle Chanel's birthday one week ago by attending the presentation of a book about the great mademoiselle written by Elena Getman. Chanel outfits, the birthday cake looking like the book and the lecture about Russian impact in Chanel's life... I think the birthday queen would have been happy to know that in Russia which she loved, her personality and her heritage are so appreciated and beloved.
